A Cottonwood teacher has been arrested for sexual conduct with a 17-year-old.

Name change for the Prescott Airport?

The Prescott Airport Advisory Committee meets at 2 tomorrow afternoon to hear an update on administrative activities.   Airport Manager Robin Sobotta is scheduled to discuss the launch of essential air carrier Skywest on August 29th, an airport name change and the airport disclosure map, which was approved by the Prescott City Council last week.  This map contains airport contours that were developed with the FAA, as well as existing and future airport traffic airspaces.  The Committee will also discuss airport construction and will get an update on the Wings Out West event, scheduled to take place at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University on October 6th.  The meeting will be held in the Centennial Center on Clubhouse Drive.

Cottonwood Police are giving more details about a teacher who has been arrested for sexual conduct with a 17 year old male.  Twenty-two year old Isabella Bowman, a teacher at Dr. Daniel Bright School was arrested Thursday following a fight at her home. Cottonwood Police Sergeant Monica Kuhlt says the boy isn’t a student at the school where Bowman teaches. Police have stated none of the sexual acts occurred on or around any school properties.  Marijuana and paraphernalia allegedly belonging to Bowman were located in her home.  The investigation is ongoing and she could be facing additional charges.
