Dewey-Humboldt Council to review study session procedures
In order to clear up any confusion, the Dewey-Humboldt Town Council will be reviewing study session procedures as part of its next meeting. Council is scheduled to discuss these procedures at 2 Tuesday afternoon at Town Hall on Highway 69. Study sessions are held for discussion only by Council and no action is taken on any item. All items will first be discussed by the Mayor and Council before there’s any public comment. All comments will be limited to 3 minutes per speaker. Council will also review Town Code related to meetings and agendas and revisions to the Nuisance Abatement Ordinance. Council reviewed the proposed ordinance in May and requested staff make some changes. A new chapter has been added related to abatement definitions, prohibition of public nuisances and procedures for notice and abatement of nuisances.
