Roadwork in Prescott & CottonwoodWatch for delays due to roadwork in Prescott and Cottonwood this weekend. City of Prescott Street Maintenance crews are making repairs to the pavement on Smoke Tree Lane today. As a result, Smoke Tree is closed from Cabaret Street to Solstice Drive through 4 pm while work is being performed. Access to the Prescott Lakes Clubhouse won’t be affected. This is being done in preparation of asphalt paving scheduled to start Wednesday. At 7 Monday morning, there will be a complete road closure of South 6th Street due to paving of the roadway. Drivers are asked to use Brian Mickelsen Parkway and Aspen Street as detours around the closure, which will be in effect through 5 pm next Thursday. All businesses in the area will remain open during construction.
