Mobile home fire in Chino
A mobile home is a total loss following a fire. The fire occurred Saturday morning on Apache Drive in Chino Valley. Central Arizona and Prescott fire units arrived to find heavy smoke and a mobile home fully engulfed in flames. Defensive operations got underway immediately to contain the flames. Five fire engines, 2 water tenders, an incident commander and a utility rehab unit responded to the blaze. No one was home at the time and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire is being investigated. Back in September, a single wide mobile home on Palo Verde Drive in Chino Valley was heavily damaged by fire. Four people got out safely but 2 cats died.
