The Dewey-Humboldt Town Council will hold a special meeting at 9 tomorrow morning to discuss employee compensation and health benefits
It has been proposed Town of Dewey-Humboldt employees receive a 4 percent raise, which includes Cost of Living adjustment and merit increases. It has also been proposed a 6 thousand dollar deductible health plan be offered. However, Town Manager Yvonne Kimball has found the 26 hundred dollar deductible health plan, which has been available since at least 2010, offers the best value to employees. Kimball is suggesting the Town implement a 3 percent raise and continue other benefits at a cost of more than 757 thousand dollars. The special Council meeting will be held at Town Hall on Highway 69.
