Watch for delays due to road construction at the entrance to the Yavapai College Prescott campus and on Highway 89. At 6 tomorrow morning, asphalt is scheduled to be installed from the Sheldon Street entrance to the 4 way stop signs in front of the music and arts buildings. Two lanes of traffic will remain open alternating between each side of the meridian. Signage and flaggers will be present to direct traffic. The road and traffic circle are scheduled to be reopened on Thursday. Over on Highway 89, crews will be paving at the new roundabout at Road 4 North. This more than 2 million dollar project also includes removal and replacement of the existing pavement, lighting and drainage improvements. Work hours are 6 am to 6 pm today and tomorrow. The project is scheduled for completion this fall.
Share your thoughts and concerns with a Yavapai County Supervisor. Supervisor Jack Smith will be hosting a Coffee Chat session from 8 to 9 tomorrow morning. Smith says while this session is for the Granville community, all interested residents are invited to attend this or other upcoming chats. Stepping Stones’ Step One Coffee House is located on 2nd Street off Highway 69.
