Arizona Community Foundation of Yavapai County Publishes Worthy Projects List for 2022

The Arizona Community Foundation of Yavapai County has published its annual Worthy Projects List, a document of programs and projects in need of more funding than was available during the foundation’s annual competitive grant cycle. This list gives potential donors insight into the specific needs of local nonprofits, confidence that the organization is in good standing with the IRS, and assurance that the project has been well planned and thought out.

Each year, ACF of Yavapai County awards funding to organizations serving local needs and residents through a competitive grant cycle. While the foundation is proud to support many projects and programs through this grant cycle, it cannot fulfill every submitted funding amount and request. As a service to the community, the grant panels compose a list of organizations in need of additional funding.

This year’s Worthy Projects List can be found at azfoundation.org/yavapai. Organizations serving animal welfare, arts and culture, youth, economic development, education, emergency services and safety, environment, food insecurity, healthcare (including mental health and substance abuse), housing, social services, and veterans can all be found on this list.

For more information on the projects and how to donate, please contact Regional Philanthropic Advisor Sheri Denny by calling 928.583.7816 or email SDenny@azfoundation.org. Organizations who wish to apply for a grant through the annual competitive grant cycle must attend a grant application workshop in January and the application opens in February of each year. Dates and details for the 2023 cycle are to be announced.
