slurrybushAn air tanker experienced mechanical difficulties yesterday afternoon, and dropped a load of slurry on Willow Creek Road, about a quarter mile south of the Willow Creek Road/Highway 89 intersection where the Circle K gas station/mini-mart is located. The Circle K was not affected.

Willow Creek Road was closed for approximately 2 hours while fire crews worked to clean up the road.

There were no injuries in this incident, which was totally unrelated to the plane crash that occurred at 2:45 pm near Earnest A. Love Airfield. (See: Two Fatalities In Small Airplane Accident Near Love Field)
