Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. John 14:27#PeaceWithGod pic.twitter.com/dO0zzRMKFl— Billy Graham Library (@TheBGLibrary) March 26, 2020
Opportunities to Worship & Pray
Due to Governor Ducey's order and guidance from the CDC as well as the Arizona Department of Health services, churches across the area are closed temporarily to live gatherings. However, many are offering a live stream or video of their normal services.
We have provided a list of churches below (listed in alphabetical order) and links to their online services.
Note: If there are other churches that would like to be added to this list, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org We need your website URL, your Facebook page if you have one, a list of your services and a link to an online stream if your church provides that. Thank you!

Coronavirus Statement: In Time of Great Sickness and Mortality.
From the Book of Common Prayer
O MOST mighty and merciful God, in this time of grievous sickness, we flee unto thee for succour. Deliver us, we beseech thee, from our peril; give strength and skill to all those who minister to the sick; prosper the means made use of for their cure; and grant that, perceiving how frail and uncertain our life is, we may apply our hearts unto that heavenly wisdom which leadeth to eternal life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

After seeking the Lord in prayer, reading His Word, and speaking to other church leaders, we’ve decided to hold both Good Friday and Easter services online only. Definitely unprecedented, but God’s in control and He will make something awesome happen!
Please pray for the whole church team as we prepare for something so different and exciting. Also be sure to invite your friends, neighbors, coworkers, and whomever else God gives you the opportunity to invite–we’ll be seeing lots of people coming to Christ!

Coronavirus Statement: Dear Brothers and Sisters of Prescott Church of the Nazarene,
Our church board voted Tuesday, March 17 to cancel ALL on campus and off campus activities and services for TWO WEEKS.
We join with our community: other churches, schools, and businesses in solidarity with the rest of Arizona and these United States of America in following the request of our President, the Center For Disease Control, State, County and Local Government to not gather in groups of more than 10 people for the next 14 days.
This was not an easy decision for us because as the church we provide something that is desperately needed all the time but even more in times of crisis: the comfort of God’s word, the helpful inspiration of worship, and a loving community.
We do not do this out of fear but in order to protect the most vulnerable among us considering the needs of others as more important than our own having the same attitude as Jesus Christ.
Consider Paul’s words in Philippians 2:1 Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. NIV
While the campus will be closed on Sunday Mornings we will Live Stream Services at www.prescottnaz.com at 10:30 AM Sunday Mornings and the recording of the morning services will be available about 2 hours after the service on our website. Podcasts of the sermon are also available on our website.
You can give your tithe and offerings online through the link on our website or mail them to 2110 Willow Creek Rd., Prescott AZ 86301.
Our offices will continue to be open Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 4 PM. Please call 948-445-1136 if you have questions or need help.
Our staff will be leading the church in the coming weeks in reaching out by phone to every member looking for ways we can serve and help you during this crisis. If you need prayer, groceries or help in accessing the online or recorded services let us know and we will find a way to help you with these and other needs.
Our Church Board will meet again on Tuesday March 31 to evaluate our next steps. The measures we have taken recently to keep us safe when we gather together will be kept in place once we begin meeting again for Worship and Sunday school.
Join us in praying that our working together with the rest of the community will help stop this virus in its tracks.
Grace and Peace,
Pastor Ira Brown

Coronavirus Statement: In order to protect all of us and the community, after consulting with the Vestry, it is with a broken heart, but believing it’s the best for us at this time, that I have decided to shut down St Luke’s for two weeks beginning this afternoon. That might look like an extreme and unnecessary decision, but I prefer for us to be safe than sorry.

Governor Doug Ducey announced a ban on gatherings of 50+ people, based on recommendations from the CDC. This is to help stem the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Due to this ban, we will be moving all Church services at The Potter’s House Prescott to ONLINE ONLY. (Adult Bible Class Sundays 9:30am, Sunday Services 10:30am & 6:30pm, Wednesday Service 7:30pm, and Martes en Español 7:30pm).
Follow Through on:
We are not doing this based on fear or panic, but as a wise and reasonable response to align with governmental guidelines to help stem the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). While we can’t gather together personally, we can continue to worship and hear God’s word together online. Each service will be a regular full service, with singing, worship, praise, offering, preaching and altar call – just as usual. This is to provide you with continuity, and enable you to participate with us as you would in person. You can also invite friends and family to watch with you – knowing that unsaved people will still be challenged with the Gospel, and have an opportunity to respond.
You can join us online by clicking the Watch Services boxes (in English or Spanish) on the front page of www.prescottpottershouse.com
We ask that you understand that our commitments to outreach, domestic church planting, and international missions church planting will continue. Therefore, we ask you to remain faithful to the Lord in your financial giving. You can give in the following ways:
SecureGive App: (Download from App Store or Google Play)
Mail: The Potter’s House P.O. Box 2448 Prescott, AZ 86302
We trust this will only be for a few weeks duration, and look forward to gathering as a congregation again.
Believing in God’s Providence,
Pastor Greg Mitchell

Online Services (Prerecorded)
Dear Church Family,
I am writing you to let you know that after much prayer and under the advisement of our state and federal governments and healthcare officials, we will be canceling our Sunday services for the next two weeks, March 22nd and March 29th. We will also cancel any face to face gatherings of 10 or more people for that same time frame.
Here is a copy of our nation’s 15-day plan to slow the spread.
We know that during this time many of us will spend more time at home, isolated, away from crowds and gatherings. We don’t want you to feel alone and disconnected. Josh Micale, Josh White, Randy Irwin, Tim Goeringer (The Elders) and I are praying for guidance on how to navigate this time and we will be trying some new ways to get teaching and encouragement to you, wherever you might be. Love from our homes to yours J via the world wide web. I hope each one of us, whether you are part of a care group or not will stay connected to each other via email and telephone while we are not able to meet as a large group.
We will record a video of this week’s sermon and then will send the link to that video to you in an email. You will receive this email before Sunday morning and you will have it to watch in place of our Sunday morning service. We will try a little something new.
Lord, we pray that as you lead us through this time of so much uncertainty that we won’t forget to lean into you, your strength and love are the only truly certain things we can build our life on. Thank you for never leaving us and not giving up on us when our faith is small and believing gets hard. We love you!
Love you all.
