The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for possible delays and use caution while traffic signals are out of service at State Route 89 and 89A in Prescott.
Crews are scheduled to install new electrical conduit for the traffic signals on the north- and southbound SR 89 on- and off-ramps at SR 89A from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, and Wednesday, Feb. 13.
Law enforcement officers will direct traffic through the busy intersection while the signals are deactivated.
A 12-foot vehicle-width restriction will be in place.
Motorists should allow extra travel time and consider using Deep Well Ranch Road to Willow Creek Road as an alternate route.
Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel equipment.
