A reminder that distracted driving is not only irresponsible, but against the law in Prescott.

At about 2 PM on November 14, 2018 Prescott Fire Dept. dispatch received a 911 call about a car accident on Highway 69 and Robin Drive. When initial units arrived on scene, they found three vehicles involved in this accident with 2 sustaining heavy damage. Two of the patients were treated for relatively minor injuries and released. The vehicles’ safety equipment, including a combination of the seatbelts and airbags, were critical in helping these patients survive this accident relatively uninjured.

It is a very important reminder that distracted driving is not only irresponsible but now against the law here in the city of Prescott and unincorporated areas of Yavapai County. Be aware of your surroundings at all times, stay focused on the road and never use your cell phone while driving.
