PRESCOTT, Ariz. - October 25, 2018 — Augie's Restaurant, located in the Frontier Village Shopping Center at 1721 E. State Route 69 in Prescott, today announced they will offer free lunch or dinner entrees for veterans on Veteran's Day, Sunday November 11, 2018. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. that day. All active duty military or veterans with proof of service will eat for free on Veteran's Day.
"We want to salute and honor our veterans this Veteran's Day and every day." said Augie's owner Augie Perry. "While several corporate chains in town may offer similar discounts, we're proud to be among the few locally-owned businesses in Prescott hosting a free meal for those who served."
In addition to free meals for vets on Veterans' Day, Augie's also will be donating a portion of their proceeds from lunch and dinner on Monday, November 12, 2018 to U.S. Vets in Prescott.
"We're proud to partner with U.S. Vets in Prescott to help our local veterans," Perry added. "It is an honor to share a portion of our proceeds that day with U.S. Vets, an organization fighting the battle on the home front each and every day for Prescott's veterans."
Augie's Restaurant is locally-owned and has been operating in Prescott and Prescott Valley since 2003. Learn more about Augie's at www.augiesprescott.com.
