Shortly after issuing a press release of a missing 43-year-old Yarnell woman, Yavapai County Sheriff’s spokesperson followed up with a notification that Lynne Trombley’s body had been located.
"At approximately 12:30 PM today, the body of Lynne Trombley was found in a remote area south east of the town of Yarnell. An investigation is underway, but preliminary findings indicate no evidence of foul play. Trombley’s family has been notified. Cause of death is pending an examination by the Medical Examiner,” writes Dwight D’Evelyn, Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office Media Relations Coordinator.
Trombley was originally reported missing on December 9, having been last seen at her residence on Thursday, December 8 around 4:30 PM. It appeared that she had left on foot, and did not have access to a car. Deputies searched near her home, and also contacted neighbors, family and friends, but were unable to locate her.
“YCSO expresses our condolences to Trombley’s family and friends,” D’Evelyn concluded.
