YCCHS Helps With Back to School Preparations

29 July 2016   David McAtee

It’s back to school time and YCCHS has you covered

Yavapai County Community Health Services (YCCHS) has several things to make your summer a little easier.

YCCHS is proud to introduce our new Pediatrician Dr. Cody Conklin-Aguilera who joined our team of medical providers a few months ago and is bringing with her several exciting new services to Yavapai County Community Health Center in Cottonwood Arizona (51 Brian Mickelson Pkwy, Cottonwood).
Just to name a few:

  • Well Child Visits and Sports Physicals $20
  • Routine Newborn Care and Screenings
  • Adolescent Health
  • Pre-Diabetes/Diabetes Counseling

For those in the Prescott and Prescott Valley area we still have Dr. David Green our local pediatrician on the Prescott side of Yavapai County.

Yavapai County will also be offering back to school shots, for all Kindergarten through 12th grade students without insurance, for one $20 fee per child. That means that if your child needs several shots this year it will only be $20. If you have insurance we will bill your insurance.

If you don’t have insurance, we can help you through the AHCCCS (Medicaid) or Marketplace application process. If you did not qualify in the past, give us a call and let us see if the new Medicaid expansion will help you. If you know you make too much money for AHCCCS but have kids that still need insurance, KidsCare may be the answer. As of July 26th, the State of Arizona has begun taking applications for KidsCare in families who make too much to qualify for AHCCCS. Call us today 928-639-8130.
