At approximately 1:50 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, during a nighttime food delivery an unknown male suspect forced entry into Wendy’s Restaurant located at 3020 North Glassford Hill Road in Prescott Valley.
The suspect was wearing a red bandana over his face with a black material tied over his head, and brandishing what appeared to be a firearm. The suspect forced the store manager to empty the store’s safe. The suspect is described as approximately 6' feet tall, dark-complexioned and was observed getting into a dark green over gray two toned Jeep Grand Cherokee - mid to late 90’s. The vehicle was driven by another person and was last seen going North on Glassford Hill Road.
The amount stolen is undetermined and the incident is still under investigation. The public is encouraged to always be vigilant of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity to the police.
