Burglary Suspects Arrested

On Thursday, December 30, 2021, at about 3:48 pm, the Prescott Valley Police Department was notified of a burglary in progress. Officers were dispatched to the scene of the home near Viewpoint Drive and Summer Vista in the town of Prescott Valley. A witness stated a male, later identified as Daniel Hayden, 39-years-old of Prescott, was burglarizing the house while the owner was away from the home.

On arrival, officers contained the scene, saw Daniel Hayden in the house, and arrested him as he was trying to escape.

The investigation revealed that an associate of Daniel Hayden, named Victoria Sutton, 27- years-old of Prescott, had dropped Hayden off at the residence, knowing he was going to burglarize the home. Sutton was also arrested. Both suspects were charged with Burglary, Theft, and numerous other charges.

Prescott Valley Police encourage homeowners to secure interior garage doors when they are away for any length of time. Also, be a good neighbor and report all suspicious activity immediately to the police.
