Show Time Community Theatre - a non-profit youth theatre for the Tri-Cities - presents "A 21st Century Christmas Carol," a fun modern twist on Charles Dickens' classic tale, "A Christmas Carol," like you've never seen before.
Witness the transformation of the grouchy and bitter Eleanor Scrooge as she learns to love life and the spirit of Christmas. Follow the germophobic Christmas Past, the celebration-maniac Christmas Present, and the ready-for-retirement Christmas Future as they show "bah humbug" Eleanor the error of her ways hoping for a changed heart from ruthless shop-owner. Performed by kids of widely varying ages, "A 21st Century Christmas Carol" is sure to delight. Show Time Theatre is dedicated to the education and practice of live theatre acting and etiquette, hoping to encourage and empower kids to gain confidence in voice and dramatization in situations that involve public speaking, debate and self-promotion in addition to creative aspects such as writing, acting, and other forms of entertainment.
