Granite Mountain Hotshots Virtual Run/Walk Fundraiser

On June 19-25, 2021, we are holding a Fundraiser Virtual Run/Walk and would really appreciate it if you would share the run information with your family, friends and colleagues. With your support, we will continue to honor the memory of the 19 and educate the community about Wildland Fire and Prevention.

We are an all-volunteer led organization and all monies raised goes to the Center to educate the community about wildland fires and keeping the memory of the 19 alive.

What is a Virtual Run/Walk? It is a race that you can run or walk at your own pace in your own time and anywhere you want. Try walking or running in your local parks and trails, indoor tracks such as in malls, in the gym on a treadmill, or around your neighborhood. You can sign up individually or as a group with friends, family, or colleagues! Be as creative as you want! The Granite Mountain Hotshots Virtual Run is about being healthy, having fun, and supporting the Granite Mountain Interagency Hotshot Crew (GMIHC) Learning and Tribute Center.

When is it? Anytime between 6/19/2021 and 6/25/2021.

Please sign up by June 9, 2021 at our website  Registration closing soon.

This run/walk event is a fundraiser for the GMIHC Learning and Tribute Center, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization located in Prescott, Arizona. We greatly appreciate your support for the Center through this event. The Center honors the 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots who perished in the Yarnell Hill fire on June 30, 2013, houses all the items removed from the Station 7 memorial fence that sprang up in the wake of their deaths, and teaches about wildland fire, firefighting, and prevention.
