PRESCOTT, Ariz. – The International Student Association (ISA) and the Center for International Programs and Studies (CIPS) at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Prescott Campus invites the public to its annual International Festival on Saturday, Feb. 23, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The event will be held in the Embry-Riddle Activity Center located on Dobberteen Drive.
Attendees will be given a “Passport” which will allow them to sample foods from a variety of countries represented by Embry-Riddle students from various nations around the world. There is no cost for the Passport, but donations will be accepted to offset the cost of food.
In addition to the opportunity to taste a variety of international foods, the event offers activities and information about other countries and cultures as well as examples of the native clothing and music from various countries. There will be entertainment and activities provided by numerous student and community groups.
Approximately 200 international students from 40 countries attend Embry-Riddle. The International Student Association and the Center for International Programs and Studies sponsors the International Festival to encourage cultural exchange between international students and the campus community and the Tri-City area.
