He lived through the horror of Benhazi. Now Kris “Tanto” Paronto speaks across the country telling the inside story of the Americans on the ground during the chaos on that September 11, 2012. Tanto, an advisor and also a primary character in the book and movie, 13 Hours, The True Story of Benghazi, will be in Prescott next month.
The Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) College Republicans are bringing Tanto to Prescott on Wednesday, April 13, as a benefit for the Glen Doherty Scholarship. Doherty, an ERAU alumni and a Navy Seal was killed that night in Benghazi.
Tanto spoke to the Republican Women of Prescott a little more than a year ago, mesmerizing them with the account of what he saw and experienced. He speaks without a political slant, dedicated to the heroism of his fellow warriors.
