PRESCOTT, Ariz. – The International Student Association (ISA) and Center for International Programs and Services (CIPS) at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University invites the public to its annual International Festival on Saturday, Feb. 27, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The event will be held in the Embry-Riddle Activity Center located on Dobberteen Drive.
Attendees will be given a “Passport” that will allow them to sample foods from a variety of countries, prepared and served by Embry-Riddle students from various nations around the world. There is no cost for the Passport, but donations will be accepted to offset the cost of food.
In addition to the opportunity to taste a variety of international foods, the event offers activities and information about other countries and cultures as well as examples of the native clothing and music from various countries. Entertainment and activities will be provided by numerous student and community groups.
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University currently enrolls more than 235 international students from 34 countries. The International Student Association and the Center for International Programs and Services sponsors the International Festival to encourage interaction between international students, the campus community and the Tri-City area.
