Teen Lifeline: Teen Suicide and Depression Prevention

Teen Lifeline will be conducting a community-based presentation to help people who work with youth become more willing, ready and able to help persons at risk. The discussion is designed to help parents, teachers, coaches and any adult working with youth learn how to identify signs and intervene to prevent the immediate risk of suicide. They will offer suggestions on how to appropriately approach youth and discuss issues in a safe manner.

Learn the risk factors and warning signs for suicide and depression, as well as different coping techniques.

Presenters include:

► Laura Norman, Chief Development and Communication Officer, West Yavapai Guidance Clinic

► Rob Petsche, MS, Children's Program Director, Spectrum Healthcare
