|Prescott Frontier Days opens again!|
Well, we've had parades and dances and rodeos going on since Friday night, and the activities seem to keep going with more tenacity than the Energiser Bunny!
The 4th of July Parade had everything for everyone. Horses, old cars, firetrucks, and bikes. Floats, and singing and bands and even bagpipes brought smiles to the faces of the spectators.
The Rodeo theme was "Unsung Heroes" and all sorts of heroes were honored, from soldiers, to police and firemen, to moms and dads. Even a few politicians slipped in!
After Saturday's parade, the 25th Annual Boot race was held down Whiskey Row, with fun for all.
Downtown on the square, you can find booths filled with wonderful art and clothing and food. Don't forget to try the Indian Fry Bread!
