The Badgers dropped their second game at home this week with a 10-2 setback to the Peoria Panthers.
Trailing 4-0, Prescott scored a run in the bottom of the third when Elle Long walked and scored on a single by RJ Parra. Peoria added four in the sixth to go up 8-1. Badger pitcher Gracie Pereira had a triple and another batter reached base on an error, but both runners were left stranded at second and third.
The Panthers (4-1), scored two more for a 10-1 lead. The Badgers closed out the game with their second run. Camilla Quinonez picked up the win for the visitors, allowing just one earned run on four hits, while striking out eight. Quinonez also had a triple and four RBIs. Despite striking out 12 with zero walks, Periera suffered the loss. RJ Parra had a pair of hits and Camerann Carr had a single.
Prescott falls to (1-3) and will not play again till they host Arcadia on March 20 at 3pm.

The Badgers came out and played their best game of the season thus far with a 9-1 win at Peoria High School. Prescott had dropped their first two contests, while managing only one run.
A good combination of hitting and pitching was exactly what the Badgers needed. Brendan Costes had a three run homer. Luke Barrett had two hits and an RBI. Sam Strasser also has two hits. Adrian Sanderford had a good game on the hill, tossing five innings, allowing only one unearned run and five hits. The sophomore also picked up for strikeouts in earning his first varsity win.
Prescott (1-2) will play in the Route 66 Tournament hosted by River Valley during spring break next week, before returning to host their first game at Prescott High School on March 20 versus Paradise Honors at 4pm.

Prescott swept the cross town match against Bradshaw Mountain 3-0 in the Badger Dome.
The Badgers won 25-10, 25-22, and 25-11. Prescott (2-0) will be at Northwest Christian for a 5:30pm match on March 21.
Varsity Boys Tennis
The Prescott Badgers improved to (4-0) on the season with an 8-1 win over the Eastmark Firebirds in Mesa. The Badgers will host Barry Goldwater on March 21 at 3:30pm.
