Tri-City Prep High School, 5522 Side Road, Prescott, is partnering with the Prescott Valley Police Department and the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety to host a mock car accident scene to showcase the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol and other drugs. The event will be March 1st from 8:00AM to 12:00PM.
An assembly will take place at the school where survivors of fatal DUI crashes will tell their stories to the students. Local agencies including Prescott Valley Police Department, Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, Spectrum, and Mothers Against Drunk Drivers will be present for the assembly. Emergency vehicles may be present at the assembly.
This event is part of an ongoing commitment to educating our local youth about the dangers of impaired driving.
