Nashville guitar ace Mark Stuart returns to Prescott on Saturday, February 25th, together with Eric Ramsey, Winner of the 2022 International Blues Challenge, and 3x Champion of the Phoenix Blues Showdown for the Folk Sessions 20th Anniversary Concert at the elegant Elks Crystal Hall. Nashville-based singer/songwriter Mark Stuart has played with country and roots-rock groups like the Long-Gone Daddies and Steve Earle’s Dukes. While playing with that group he met his future wife, Stacey Earle. After the couple married in 1994, Stuart also became Stacey’s accompanist on her albums and tours. His album Songs from A Corner Stage was released on Steve Earle’s E-Squared label. The Americana/Folk veteran serves up songs from his Stacey Earle & Mark Stuart CDs, solo CDs, AND reflects on his journey in music.

Phoenix musician Eric Ramsey is winner of the 2022 International Blues Challenge, Memphis, TN, three-time champion of the Phoenix Blues Society’s Blues Showdown, a finalist at the Telluride Blues Challenge. He’s a winner of the Stefan George Memorial Songwriting Contest, sponsored by the Tucson Folk Festival, and has been tapped for the prestigious Songwriter’s Showcase produced by Tempe Center for the Arts, filmed for PBS distribution.
