Prescott Regional SciTech Fest Offers Free Family Fun

Enjoy a day of science and discovery at the Prescott Regional SciTech Fest on Saturday, March 4 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (3700 Willow Creek Road). 

This free, fun-filled educational event features interactive science, technology, engineering, art and math exhibits and demonstrations. Visitors can engage in hands-on activities, observe scientific experiments, and collect free goodies from campus organizations and community exhibitors. 

There is no need to sign up; just show up and enjoy the experience! Arrive on campus and follow the signs for parking. Be sure to pick up free planetarium tickets at the entrance to the activity center during the event. 

If you’ve never been to a show at the Jim and Linda Lee Planetarium on campus, now is your chance! The planetarium show will start at 1 p.m. and be repeated at 2 and 3 p.m. Each show is 45 minutes long. 

The Prescott Regional SciTech Fest celebrates and embraces education, research, collaboration, innovation, and economic growth in the Prescott region, related to science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and the arts (STEAM).

Book Drive:

Phi Kappa Phi ERAU is conducting a book drive for the Yavapai Library Network event, Bring On The Books, which will help students at K-12 schools in Yavapai County.  Please help to support this cause! Drop off a new or like-new children’s or young adult book when you join us at the Prescott Regional SciTech Fest.  Hardback books are preferred.  Drop off bins will be located at the SciTech Fest check-in table.  

 Baseball Games:

Sports fans: While on campus stop by and watch the Embry-Riddle Baseball Team doubleheader against Antelope Valley. Game times are at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Entrance is free.
