The Chino Valley Unified School District will begin the search for principals at two of the district’s four campuses soon as Heritage Middle School principal Julie Bryce announced her retirement recently and Chino Valley High School principal Heidi Wolf has accepted the position of CVUSD Human Resource Director.

Both positions will become open effective June 30, 2023.

Bryce has been with the CVUSD for 22 years, serving as teacher, counselor, assistant principal, and principal.

“Julie has been a pleasure to work with,” said CVUSD superintendent John Scholl. “I have had the pleasure to work closely with her over the past 15 years and she will be missed. We wish her the best in the next phase of her life.”

Bryce’s career with the CVUSD has included positions at three of the district’s four campuses.

Wolf, who has served as CVHS principal since 2017, previously worked for the Mountain Institute JTED program, served as the Career and Technology Director for the CVUSD, and assistant principal at CVHS before being named principal.

“Heidi has experience as a HR professional prior to becoming an educator,” said School. “That, along with her time as principal provides the experience that we were looking for as HR Director.”

Information regarding the search process for both positions will be shared shortly.
