Opinion: Red Wave Forecast – Buz Williams

It looks like the elections in November will be an historic win for the Republicans. Not just in the Congressional House, but also the Senate and in state and local elections. Of course this will only happen if the conservative voters stay energized and the Republican candidates stay focused on the issues.

They need to tell the public what they will do to correct all of the things the Biden cartel has ruined or destroyed since taking office. What will they do to ease inflation? How will Republican legislators close our borders? How will they ensure that there will never again be mandatory masks, lock downs, vaccines, business and school closures? How will they get us back to energy independence? They need to do more than point out that the only thing Biden has built back better, is the Taliban. They need to provide solutions.

School Board elections will probably have the highest voter turnout ever. The citizens found out how the progressive woke policies are not only attacking traditional American values and history, but lowering academic achievement. Parents are incensed and aroused about what some teachers and schools are teaching, how they are trying to keep parents in the dark, and what they are allowing to be done to their children without parental consent.

The Democrats seemed to have received a bump in the polls after the Supreme Court Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v Wade. They were ecstatic and started to predict that there would be no “red wave” for Republicans. Many of us think that the boost in the polls was due to Biden being out of the public view with his second bout of COVID and his summer vacation. Some think it is the drop in gas prices.

Whatever the reason, the Democrats’ renewed confidence will be short lived. With public opinion of Biden floating between 32 and 40 percent, with nearly three quarters of those polled believing the country is heading in the wrong direction, the left is heading for a drowning in a sea of red. Red states will become a deeper crimson. Purple states will turn red. Blue states will lose some of the House seats.

It brings to mind the old quote, “You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.” The people who are being fooled all of the time are the leftist/progressive and the ill-informed lifetime Democrats. Outside of that base, there isn’t much for the Dems to be hopeful about.

The vast majority of Americans, regardless of party affiliation, do not think that a man can get pregnant. They do not want biological men to compete in women’s sports. They see that the word games that the leftists are promoting in our schools and military about using “proper pronouns”, are an asinine waste of time. They see it as pandering to an infinitesimal, neurotic minority.

Most voters know that it was the Democrats who supported and excused the George Floyd riots in 2020. People realize that the Democrats’ U-turn from their “defund the police” stand to now saying they want to fund the police, is a cynical political move that they will abandon after the election. They know that the open borders are also adding to the crime problem.

Most of our countrymen know that inflation will not be reduced by the misnamed Inflation Reduction Act. They do not believe the 87,000 armed IRS agents will reduce inflation. It is incredulous to think that those agents won’t be unleashed on the middle class. Americans know that the millionaires and billionaires all have CPAs and tax attorneys to hide their income and protect them in IRS audits. So who is the easiest marks? The middle class.

Any voter who has an IQ above room temperature can see that the crime rates are highest where Democrats are in charge. Democrat District Attorneys let criminals out of jail without posting bail. In states where Democrat majority legislators have made many felonies into misdemeanors and lessened the penalties for both and allowed convicts out of prison early, violent and property crimes are increasing at rates not seen in decades.

With confidence in the news media at near record lows, the wool has been pulled from the eyes of most American voters. With that vision clear, the red wave will be coming.

  1. Thanks Buz. Buz reminded me of the leftward drift of our own local paper; The Daly Courier”. This includes Prescott Newspapers such as the “PV Tribune” and other weeklies. Often we see the opinion page filled with anti conservative rants by people not even of the local area as well as “leftie” cartoons. We should call Tim the editor and complain about the biased content he promotes.

  2. Excellent article.

According to my Credibility-o-Meter, the mainstream media and small news outlets measure an average of 0.02 MicroReagans with a 95% confidence interval of 0.015 to 0.025, based on a random sample size of 57.

It’s like the Wizard of Oz yelling PAY NO ATTENTION TO THOSE MEDIA CLOWNS BEHIND THE CURTAIN!!!!
