The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for overnight lane restrictions on north- and southbound State Route 69 between Onyx Drive in Mayer and Main Street in Dewey-Humboldt (mileposts 271 – 279).
The following restrictions will occur from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays beginning July 11, through Sept. 30:
- SR 69 will be narrowed to one lane of travel in each direction between Onyx Drive in Mayer and Main Street in Dewey-Humboldt (mileposts 271 – 279).
- Flaggers and law enforcement will direct motorists through the work zone.
- A 14-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
- The speed limit will be reduced.
ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around personnel and equipment while pavement repairs are underway.
The work is part of a $2.6 million pavement preservation project. For more information, visit the project webpage: azdot.gov/SR-69-NW-Pavement-
