Food & Feed Drive on June 8 will benefit local residents and animals

The first Food & Feed Drive for community residents and animals in need will be hosted by the Prescott Area Association of REALTORS (PAAR) on Wednesday, June 8 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Safeway in Chino Valley, C-A-L Ranch Store in Prescott and Tractor Supply Co. stores in Prescott and Prescott Valley. All non-perishable food or monetary donations on June 8 will benefit the Paulden Food Bank, Chino Valley Food Bank and Bethany’s Gait Foundation.

The Food & Feed Drive is part of “REALTORS Are Good Neighbors Week,” designated by the National Association of REALTORS to showcase how local REALTORS care about giving back to their communities.

“In addition to the Food & Feed Drive, members of PAAR volunteer at organizations that make our community a better place, such as the Yavapai Boys & Girls Club, the Chino Valley Hungry Kids Project, Coats for Kids and the Prescott Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 541, to name just a few,” said George Beitzel, 2022 PAAR president.

Just this week, PAAR members demonstrated their commitment to the community’s well-being by creating the Caring PAARtners Foundation. The mission of the Foundation is to help those who have endured difficulties caused by disasters, unforeseen medical emergencies and other economic hardships.

Beginning June 3, tax-deductible donations can be made online by visiting CaringPAARtners.org or emailing Info@CaringPAARtners.org.”
