Arizona Off-Road State Championship Camp Wood Enduro Race Scheduled April 9-10

 Prescott National Forest has issued a special use permit to Arizona Trail Riders for their annual Camp Wood Enduro Race scheduled for April 9 – 10, 2022.  Organizers anticipate up to 100 participants and 75 spectators for the event.  This is a closed course race which takes place on the Smith Mesa Sheridan Mountain trail system in Camp Wood, north of Prescott.  Staging for the event will be at the intersection of County Road 68 and Forest Road 95.  For more information on Arizona Trails Riders and the event visit  https://arizonatrailriders.org/.

The roads and trails highlighted in blue on the attached map will be closed during the event.  Organizers will have signage and volunteers in place alerting the public that the race is in progress and the course is closed. There will be no closures or delays along County Road 68.

Visitors looking for OHV opportunities for the weekend can use the Hayfield Draw OHV Area in Camp Verde or Alto Pit OHV Area just west of Prescott.
