Yavapai Silent Witness Offering Up to $10,000 Reward for Arrest of Suspect in Officer Shooting

Yavapai Silent Witness is offering up to a $10,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest or arrests in the case of the Yavapai Apache Police officer who was shot at the Tunli housing area on the Yavapai Apache Indian Reservation at around 7:30 pm last evening.

To earn your reward if an arrest is made, you must call Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232 or submit a tip at www.yavapaisw.com. All tips are anonymous. You never have to give your name.

In addition, the FBI Phoenix division has identified a person of interest in the incident and are asking the public’s assistance in locating Valentin Rodriguez (pictured here) who may have further information on the shooting.

Valentin Rodriguez, 39, is a Hispanic male, 5’9”, about 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He may be a member of or connected to the Yavapai Apache tribe in Camp Verde, AZ. Anyone with information about Rodriguez’s whereabouts, is asked to contact the FBI Phoenix Field Office at (623)466-1999.

Fundraising efforts are also underway for the officer’s family, and details of how the public can contribute will be forthcoming shortly.
