Weapon Misconduct Leads to Two Felony Arrests

On Wednesday, January 5, 2022, shortly after 5:00 PM, a physical fight occurred between four men in the 3200 block of North Hedgewood Drive in Prescott Valley. During the fight, two of the men brandished handguns and threatened to shoot the two unarmed men. Both suspects were apprehended, one on scene and one at a different location.

The suspects were 60-year-old Richard D. Wyatt of Prescott Valley who was charged with Aggravated Assault, Disorderly Conduct with a Weapon, and Threatening or Intimidating and 46-year-old Anthony D. Clement of Prescott Valley who was charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault, Misconduct Involving Weapons, Disorderly Conduct with a Weapon, and Threatening or Intimidating.

The persons involved have not yet been convicted of a crime and are presumed innocent. The presumption of innocence shall continue until such time that the persons accused may be found guilty by a court of law.
