PV Police respond to early morning domestic violence incident

Prescott Valley Police at about 12:32 a.m. on Thursday, December 30 received multiple calls of domestic violence occurring in the Cypress Circle area. Responding officers found that an intoxicated male and his wife were inside the residence with a 19-year-old and three juveniles – two 16-year-olds and a three-year-old.

When officers arrived, the suspect, a 31-year-old Prescott Valley resident, told his wife to leave through the front of the home. The 19-year-old and the juveniles were able to leave through a window. The suspect was armed and had fired rounds inside the home.

This incident will be investigated by the Department of Public Safety, and officers will be on scene for several hours.
