Yavapai Republican Men’s Forum Luncheon: Illegal Immigration and the Border, December 13, 2021

This month’s featured speaker is Art Del Cueto.

Art Del Cueto has been with Border Patrol since 2003. His first duty station was Casa Grande, Arizona, where he helped in the effort to  establish a new substation at Three Points, Arizona.

Throughout most of his career, Art patrolled on the Tohono O’odham reservation, assisting on numerous drug and smuggling cases.  As a representative of the bargaining unit members, Art has responded to over 90% of all significant incidents within the Tucson Sector including shootings, accidents, and agent assaults. As an Agent who is fluent in Spanish, he routinely leads the questioning of apprehended subjects.

Art has served as an elected official for the National  Border Patrol Council for the last ten years. He also serves as the Executive Vie-President of Local 2544 in the Tucson, Arizona sector.  Prior to working for the United States Border Patrol, Art worked for a maximum security state prison in Tucson. Art is originally from Mexico, deriving his U.S.  citizenship through his father, but grew up in Douglas, Arizona.  Art has lived the majority of his life in Arizona.

As a representative of the National Border Patrol Council, Art serves as the national spokesperson.  Art has had the ability to express the many concerns of the agents he represents as well as the  issues with Border Security.  Art has appeared on most major news shows  on Fox News, CNN, Al Jazeera and HBO VICE.  Art has also been on  countless radio shows.  In addition, Art is the host of his own show, The  Green Line, broadcast on KNST Tucson and available through iHeartRadio.

Quang will add some of his thoughts on the current influx of illegal immigration and the impact it is having on the citizens of Arizona and the country.

Luncheons are held the second Monday of every month.  Doors open at 10:30AM.  Lunch goes from 11:30AM to 1:00PM.

In order to keep costs as low as possible, payment for lunch is taken in cash or check at the door.  The cost for lunch is $30 per person.

Remember – a reservation made is a reservation paid. If you do not attend after holding a reservation past the cancellation deadline, please submit your payment for the lunch as outlined in the emails you received after making your reservation.  The cutoff for accepting cancellations is before 10:00PM the Wednesday before the Luncheon. For December, that date is Wednesday, December 8th, 2021.
