Badminton
Prescott made it 13 straight with a 9-0 sweep on the road over the Peoria Panthers.
The Badgers remain on top of the AIA Division II rankings, while the Panthers fall to (2-10). Only #2 Campo Verde at (9-0), and #1 Prescott (13-0) remain perfect on the season in Division II.
The Badgers will host Desert Edge on Senior Night, next Tuesday at 4pm.

Volleyball
After snapping a four-game skid with a 3-0 sweep at Mohave, the Badgers returned home and suffered another 3-1 setback, at the hands of the Coconino Panthers.
The Badgers were led by Lexi Wasil with 9 kills, Kelsey Cluff with 5 kills and 2 aces, and Tiani Collins 21 assists and 2 aces.
The Panthers earned their first win of the season, 3-1 over the Badgers on September 9 in Flagstaff. The loss was costly for the post season seeking Badgers, who are ranked #24, while the Panthers sit at #31. Coconino evened their Grand Canyon Region record at (4-4) and (4-8) overall. The Panthers host region leader Bradshaw Mountain on Thursday at 6pm.
Prescott falls to (4-6) and (7-8) overall and will host Mingus, next Tuesday at 6pm, for Senior Night, before their final regular season game at Flagstaff on Thursday, October 21.

The Badgers (4-1) took last Friday off for their bye week, but have the challenge of a very good Coconino Panther team ahead of them, this Friday night at 7pm, in Flagstaff.
The AIA today released their first rankings of the season. Prescott comes in at #6 despite the 15-13 setback to 3A Blue Ridge on September 30.
Top ranked Cactus, who fell in the championship last season 39-38 to Mesquite, is the cream of the crop this year, and is favored to win the Division 4 championship.
