Valuable and much-loved Operations and Events Manager Gloria Grose has announced her intent to retire effective June 25, 2021.
Gloria started out as a volunteer ambassador with the Chamber and soon found herself as the Visitor Center Manager, Membership Development Manager and in 2014 she became the Operations and Events Manager. Gloria is a graduate of the Institute of Organization Management and earned the IOM professional designation.
“I consider Gloria the heart of our Chamber. Her demeanor and kindness along with her extensive professional knowledge has made her the go-to person for assistance and resources for our members,” states CEO Marnie Uhl “She always has the Chamber as a priority. She has been much more than an employee but also family and friend. She will be greatly missed.”
When asked what she will do after she retires, Gloria stated “I want to travel and spend time with family.”
A search is underway for her replacement.
