The Yavapai Patriots has announced that the Arizona Senate Whip, Sonny Borrelli, will be the featured speaker at their upcoming meeting, Saturday, April 17, 2021, at 11 am in the Marina Room of the Hassayampa Inn, in downtown Prescott. Senator Borelli (R., Lake Havasu), was elected to the Arizona House of Representatives for LD5 in 2013, after serving two years on the Lake Havasu City Council. In 2018 he was elected to the State Senate, and reelected in 2020. He currently serves as the Republican Whip in the State Senate. He is a veteran Marine Officer with numerous overseas deployments.
In the Senate his primary areas of interest have been Military and Veterans Affairs and Public Safety. Throughout his career he has been a staunch supporter of the Constitution and an outspoken advocate for freedom of speech and the right to bear arms.
His talk on Saturday will focus on election integrity and the efforts of the State Senate to ensure an audit of Maricopa County voting that is comprehensive and transparent to the public.
Dr. Lyle Rapacki, founder and Chairman of the Yavapai Patriots, states that the purpose of the organization is to provide a forum for information sharing, networking opportunities and political activism for constitutional patriots. Arizona’s political culture has been corrupted by false friends, opportunists and imposters posing as conservatives. The mainstream media is increasingly dominated by progressives and forces hostile to constitutional freedoms and the traditional values of our people. In this environment, it is critical that organizations like the Yavapai Patriots are formed so that conservative patriots can communicate directly with each other and with the people.
The Yavapai Patriots are citizens from all walks of life who have come together to roll up their sleeves and make our State once again a government of the people, by the people and for the people. To that end, our Speaker Series presents subject matter specialists and elected officials who are Servant Leaders who can tell us what we are forbidden to learn elsewhere. Recent speakers at Patriot meetings have included Sheriff Richard Mack, founder of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officer’s Association, State Representative Mark Finchem, who along with Senator Borrelli has been leading the effort on Arizona Election Integrity, and former Senate President and the author of SB 1070, Russell Pearce.
The Marina Room of the Hassayampa Inn is located on Marina Street, adjacent to the main building at 122 E Gurley Street in downtown Prescott. Doors open at 11am. The meeting is free and open to the public. An RSVP is not required. Additional information about the Yavapai Patriots can be found at YavapaiPatriots.com.
