Three weeks of daytime lane closures on State Route 89 near the town of Wilhoit starting April 5

Drivers should plan for delays and allow extra travel time

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for three-weeks of daytime lane closures on north- and southbound State Route 89 near the town of Wilhoit while vegetation removal work is underway.

The following restrictions will occur from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning Monday, April 5, and ending Thursday, April 29:

SR 89 will be narrowed to one lane only with alternating north- and southbound travel between Walden Boulevard (milepost 295) and near Forest Service Road 54 (milepost 300). Flaggers will guide drivers through the work zone. The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph.

ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around personnel and equipment while vegetation removal is underway.

Daytime lane closures on State Route 89A near the town of Jerome scheduled for April 5 and 7

Drivers should plan for delays and allow extra travel time.

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for daytime lane closures on north- and southbound State Route 89A near the town of Jerome while rock removal is underway.

The following restrictions will occur from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, April 5:

SR 89A will be narrowed to one lane only with alternating north- and southbound travel between Forest Service Road 151 (milepost 332) and near Forest Service Road 9625 (milepost 340). Flaggers will guide drivers through the work zone. The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph.

The following restrictions will occur from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 7:

SR 89A will be narrowed to one lane only with alternating north- and southbound travel between near Forest Service Road 106 (milepost 338) and Old Homestead Way (milepost 348). Flaggers will guide drivers through the work zone. The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph.
