A Trip to the Hospital Leads to a Father and Son Team Getting Busted with a Half Pound of Meth

On March 14, 2021 detectives from Partners Against Narcotics Trafficking (P.A.N.T.) received a call from the Cottonwood Police Department who were investigating a possible discovery of methamphetamine from an individual located at the Verde Valley Medical Center.

PANT detectives were called out to investigate and made contact with 68-year-old Warren Domenick and his son, 24-year-old Christian Domenick. During the course of conversation, Christian and Warren admitted to detectives that they had made at least three trips to Phoenix in recent months to purchase meth. Warren admitted to not only buying meth, but selling it and
that the drugs were destined for their home state of Utah. Detectives used a drug detection K-9 on the suspects’ car and the dog alerted to drugs in the vehicle. A search warrant was issued on the vehicle and detectives found a white crystalline rock of meth in the back seat. A total of a half a pound of meth was seized from the suspects.

Both suspects face multiple charges to include Possession of Dangerous Drugs for Sale and Transportation of Dangerous Drugs for Sale.
