B Simple

2B or not 2B, that is the question… it is also the perfect introduction to the restaurant where I had the good fortune to wander into with Patti, my dear Girlfriend. It is simply… B Simple and it is down on Montezuma, just down from the Haunted Kitchen, (220 South Montezuma).

Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune or to sit down to a nice “Brunch”. I’m not a huge fan of getting whacked by slings, let alone arrows, I prefer the “Brunch” Patti had Lunch and I had Breakfast.

Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And, by opposing, end them? It was no problems whatsoever. We were seated at the wood bar as all the tables were full. We were promptly waited upon and I ordered the “Ken”, 3 eggs, Butter fried Biscuit with Sausage Gravy and 3 big pieces of thick cut bacon…. Did I mention that the Biscuit was fried? Well, griddled more like it, with butter. It made for a crispy light biscuit with a slight crunch to it. Smother that bad boy in gravy and bits of sausage, Shakespeare himself would have written a new play about them. The bacon was meaty, and the eggs were over hard…. the way real men eat them… or cracked into a blender and drank. But I am not that much of a real man. YUCK.

Patti had the “Pam” burger and homemade hand cut fries. The Burger was Juicy, and pink in the middle. They will cook it more if you like. It had Bleu Cheese, and Homemade Pickles! Delicious, kind of a slight dill mixed with a Bread and Butter Pickle. Mild but lots of flavor. 9 Oz Burger! I forgot to mention that. Over half a pound of Juicy, meaty burger. The fries were hot, crispy and they have a ranch sauce with dill…. my new favorite.

All in all, this was a fantastic lunch time treat at a simple little B Simple restaurant. We even got to meet the guy that the “Ken” breakfast is named after! He was a customer! So, stop on in for some good grub. They are only open till 2 pm, so get in there.

Snouts. I am giving 4 Snouts. Honestly, I can’t think of a thing wrong. Just very good food.
