About Us

Here at Prescott eNews, we think there's a lot going on in the Prescott quad-city area. And, yes, we know that bad news happens, but we also know that a lot more good news happens. So, we intend to tell lots of good news, while not ignoring the bad news.

Although there are some online news sites for the Prescott area, there aren't many that seem to take advantage of the medium of the internet. Here at Prescott eNews, we know the difference between putting a book or a newspaper online, and using the Internet to its full potential. And we think it's time that a quality news website makes its home in Prescott, Arizona.

How Old Are You?

Ssshhhh...! Don't tell anyone, but we launched our beta site in June, 2007. So, yeah, we're the new kid on the block. Well, at least for this particular site. But, our staff has been designing websites for nearly 10 years, and are also accomplished Photoshop digital artists, writers, photographers and design instructors. What all that means is that just because this particular site is new, it doesn't mean that we don't know what we're doing.

Please use the contact form to send all comments and suggestions. We look forward to hearing from you.

getpublished2.jpgCalling all wannabe Reviewers! Here's your chance!

Seen a great movie lately? How 'bout experiencing a terrific meal at a local restaurant? Or even cuddled up recently with a book that you just couldn't put down? We want to know about it!

Here at Prescott eNews, we're toying with the idea of turning Sundays into Sunday Review Day. And, we want to know what you really enjoyed, especially locally. Movies, plays, books, concerts? We want to know what you thought, and we want to give you the opportunity to share the news about a great find!

Now, usually, we won't do themes, but this week, for our first Sunday Review, we're looking for movie reviews from people who attended the Sedona Film Festival. Did you go? Did you watch some movies that you loved? Were there movies that made you laugh or cry or both? We'd like to know what your favorites were and why.

Please remember that Prescott eNews is family-friendly. So, if what you saw was a bit adult-oriented, make sure that you note that in your review, and keep it all clean! Of course, if it was very adult-oriented, well, maybe this isn't the best place for you to publish your information. Obviously, we reserve the right to decline to publish anything that doesn't meet our guidelines.

Reviews should be received by Saturday at 10 am. Send them in an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it And if you took any photos that you'd like to use - please send those, too! All reviews will be published under the author's byline and photos will be credited to the photographer. (If you are not the photographer, please include the name and email address of the person who took the photos so we can verify their consent to using them.)

Ok, that's a wrap! We are looking forward to your reviews!
