Fann has a long history of contributing both monetarily and in-kind to local non-profits and groups in need and has built a base of employees, subcontractors and vendors who participate and understand that it is important to serve the community in which they work. Performing construction work for needy agencies or local public projects gives Fann employees, subcontractors and vendors a chance to participate and provides more value for the agency needing the work. In 2007, Fann was contacted by Prescott Charities, Inc. about work they needed at their Rusing House Residence for Women. The Rusing House is an eight bedroom home for mentally and physically disabled females, all of whom have jobs and contribute to the household expenses. Fann provided excavating, drainage, and paving for the residence in 2007. Fann donated all labor, equipment and material.

Fann has a variety of programs to give back to the community. The primary one is FEMAD – Fann Employees Making a Difference. Fann employees are given the opportunity to support local non-profits through payroll deductions. The non-profits are selected with group participation and the employees who donate are given opportunities to get to know those non-profits more intimately through get-togethers and employee education. Fann matches all donations dollar for dollar. This program donated over $42,000 to local charities in 2007.

Fann Contracting is a medium sized heavy / highway contractor, based in Prescott, Arizona and in business in Arizona since 1960. They build highways, roads, commercial sites, subdivisions, treatment plants, underground utility lines, and other types of heavy construction projects.
