About Us

Here at Prescott eNews, we think there's a lot going on in the Prescott quad-city area. And, yes, we know that bad news happens, but we also know that a lot more good news happens. So, we intend to tell lots of good news, while not ignoring the bad news.

Although there are some online news sites for the Prescott area, there aren't many that seem to take advantage of the medium of the internet. Here at Prescott eNews, we know the difference between putting a book or a newspaper online, and using the Internet to its full potential. And we think it's time that a quality news website makes its home in Prescott, Arizona.

How Old Are You?

Ssshhhh...! Don't tell anyone, but we launched our beta site in June, 2007. So, yeah, we're the new kid on the block. Well, at least for this particular site. But, our staff has been designing websites for nearly 10 years, and are also accomplished Photoshop digital artists, writers, photographers and design instructors. What all that means is that just because this particular site is new, it doesn't mean that we don't know what we're doing.

Into the Woods is a play about many things such as curses, witches, wishes, but most of all the woods. The main characters of this story are the baker and the witch who lives next door. The baker and his wife want to have a child but...oops I shouldn't tell you that! This play has great actors, and a few of the many are, Caleb Chunglo as the baker, Nicole St.Germain as the witch, Isaac Benson-White as the narrator, and the baker's wife played by Caroline Marolf. There are also many great songs; musical director, Matthew Kiesling, has done a wonderful job.

The costumes, props, sets, sounds, special effects, lighting, singing, acting, and anyone else I forgot to mention were all wonderful. Seven people in this play die, however when asked if she thought the play was suitable for elementary grades she said that they would love it as well as older grades would. This is a wonderful play and I highly recommend this play.

Tickets cost $10 and are available at the Yavapai College Box Office or the Ruth Street Theater Box Office. The play is being shown at the Ruth Street Theater on 1050 N. Ruth Street at Prescott High School . Shows are April 17, 18, and 19 at 7:00 pm. Produced with the permission of Music Theatre International.
