Learn how to create a life-saving connection to keep someone safe – MATFORCE

MATFORCE has partnered with Humboldt Unified School District and the Suicide Prevention Coalition of Yavapai County to bring suicide prevention programming to the community. Because suicide is preventable, and anyone can make a difference.

Studies show that participants of safeTALK, a half-day training in suicide alertness skills, gain confidence in asking people about suicide directly, connecting them to life-saving resources, and keeping them safe until those resources take over. This program is widely used among professionals and the public.

Attendees will learn suicide alertness skills, the four basic steps to create a lifesaving connection, and receive a safeTALK Participant Resource Kit.

Learn how to make a connection and help save a life. Class will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Humboldt Unified School District office located at 6411 N. Robert Road, Vista Room, Prescott Valley.
