The Prescott Lady Badgers remain unbeaten in 2024 with a 63-18 blowout win over the Mohave Thunderbirds.

Addie Prisciandaro scored 23 points in just three quarters of action. Bella Abt added 15, and Emmalynn Little came off the bench to score 8.

Unlike the exciting battle with Mingus in their last outing, the Lady Badgers took control early and never looked back. A full court press and quickness to the ball helped bolster a 22-2 first quarter lead. Prisciandaro and Abt combined for 15 in that quarter as the Thunderbirds struggled to score. Down 13-0, Mohave scored their only bucket of the quarter with 3:36 on the clock.

The lead continued to grow as Little came in and drilled a pair of three point baskets for a 35-7 lead at the break.

The third quarter saw no let down by Prescott as they ran up and down the court to build a 59-15 lead. The fourth quarter saw both benches get some plying time with a running clock to close things out.

Prisciandaro said, “It was a good game for us after we got a solid win over Mingus. There are always things we can work on and our team has a good mindset and stays focused on what we are trying to get done.” Prescott will now play five of their next six games on the road. “It is going to be a challenge for us, but we can do it,” added Prisciandaro.

The Lady Badgers will take their six game win streak up to Flagstaff to face Coconino on Tuesday at 7pm. Prescott ended a five year drought against the Panthers with a 62-54 home win on January 4.

Prescott improves to (5-1) in the GCR and (13-7) overall. Mohave falls to (0-7), and (6-13).
