City to start search for new Public Works Director and City Engineer.

According to a press release from the City of Prescott, the Public Works Director Henry Hash and the City Engineer Charles Andrews have both resigned.

City Manager Michael Lamar said that this was a mutual decision, made in the best interests of the City. According to Lamar, they are going to invest some time into looking at the projects currently being planned and see if they need to be “right-sized” for the City’s budget and needs. Recent projects will also be examined to ensure they meet the City’s needs and requirements.

Craig Dotseth has been appointed the Interim Public Works Director. The position for a permanent director will be advertised in the near future.
