Homestead at Talking Glass Expected to be Completed in 18 Months

PRESCOTT VALLEY- Local dignitaries and employees of the Fain Signature Group joined CEO Brad Fain as the organization hosted a groundbreaking ceremony Thursday morning, September 14th, for the new residential project Homestead at Talking Glass between Florentine and Lake Valley Blvd. on Main Street in Prescott Valley.

“Everybody came together and put a lot of hours into this to get this project to be a reality,” Fain said. “Today (Thursday) is that celebration that we are onto the next step which is breaking ground and going vertical and actually building the project.”

According to a news release from the Fain Signature Group, Homestead at Talking Glass will feature 214 units with one, two and three-bedroom dwellings to go along with a clubhouse, pool, gym, movie theatre, conference center and many other features.

Just steps from the Prescott Valley Entertainment District and Prescott Valley Event Center, the residential complex will allow occupants the ability to be walking distance from many Prescott Valley amenities.

“It feeds into the vision that everybody had…of continuing to create a place where people can live, work and play without having to get in their car if they don’t want to,” Fain said. “This is the first project of that magnitude where it’s affordable and anybody can live there and walk to dining, walk to entertainment, walk to work if they happen to work in the area.”

Along with being close to many of Prescott Valley’s entertainment and dining options, it was stated in the news release that the project will create hundreds of jobs for the community during the 18 month construction period.

“We’ve longed for it and are really excited that it’s here,” Prescott Valley Vice Mayor Lora Lee Nye said. “The timing is right, the location is superb and it’s a long filled vision. This is going to spur continued and maybe even accelerated economic growth.”

Fain said the clubhouse and residential complex will be completed in thirteen months as the first residents can move in at the end of October or beginning of November 2018 with an expected completion of March 2019.
