It’s the Arizona Technology Council’s (AZTC) 10th Annual CEO Leadership Retreat and it’s taking place in Prescott this week.
The event will start out with a round at Capital Canyon Golf Club and a welcome reception. Tuesday morning, after opening comments from Mayor Harry Oberg, Steve Zylstra, the AZTC President & CEO will talk about the State of the Technology Environment.
Other speakers will include:
Jim Cantrell, CEO, Vector Space Systems
Sandra Watson, President & CEO, Arizona Commerce Authority
The final keynote speaker is Blake Irving, GoDaddy, CEO and Board Director.
According to Jim Robb, Prescott’s Economic Development Consultant, this is the first time the Arizona Technology Council has held a retreat in Prescott.
"There will be 100 Technology CEO's in Prescott,” Robb explained. "These CEOs will have a chance to experience Prescott and the surrounding areas. The result could be other technology events being held here. Besides events, they could, relocate their business, open satellite offices and possibly hire our high school, college and university graduates in high paying technology jobs."
"These events will have an extremely positive economic impact on Prescott and the surrounding areas,” Robb concluded.
